Getting Here

 

North Stradbroke Island is approximately one hour from Brisbane International Airport and Brisbane City. The island is accessible by vehicular ferry or water taxi.

 

Both ferries and water taxis leave from Toondah Harbour at the Moreton Bay end of Middle Street, Cleveland.

 

Getting to Cleveland:

From Brisbane Airport by Car: 

Travel across the Gateway Bridge and take the Cleveland exit, which is approx 6 km south of the Gateway Bridge, and follow Old Cleveland Road to Middle Street, Cleveland.

Vehicular Ferry:

There are two vehicular ferries that operate from Cleveland across Moreton Bay to Dunwich.

 

The two ferry companies are:

The return price for a vehicle including all of the occupants is approximately AUD $135 (subject to change). The ferry takes approximately 50 minutes to cross Moreton Bay.  

It is then a 20 minute drive to Point Lookout, along The Dickson Way (East Coast Road). Turn left into Hopewell Street (just after Cylinder Beach/ Clayton's), and then via right into Cutter Street. We are number 16.

 

Water Taxis:

For those travelling without a car, there are two Water Taxi companies (no need to make a booking):

The return price for an adult is approximately AUD $17.00 (subject to change). There are concessions available for students, children and pensioners.

 

The Water Taxis will take you to Dunwich and then there is a local bus service that operates to Point Lookout. 

Get off at the Endeavour street stop and go back to the previous corner and walk down Hopewell Street, (small blue Church on the corner). Via right into Cutter Street and head towards the beach and follow the street along the beach front. Reflections is number 16.
